Arevia Power was founded in 2015 by a team of utility-scale solar PV developers with 22years combined experience. Arevia’s founders, have developed, originated, or constructed over 2 gigawatts of utility scale solar PV from inception to operations since 2008. The company operates as a project owner / developer and manages projects through entire life cycles, start to finish, including but not limited to the following key activities:
Mark founded Arevia Power in 2015. Mark leads Arevia’s Fundraising and Power Marketing. Mark has led over $600MM in solar project fundraising over the last 11 years. Mark has direct experience in raising capital throughout solar projects’ lifecycle from development capital to Tax Equity and permanent financing. Mark was responsible for leading PPA negotiations for the Gemini Solar + Battery contract with NV Energy and Gemini’s development capital fundraising from Quinbrook. Mark also led the funding of SunEdison’s first non-recourse $85MM development capital loan. In addition to fundraising, Mark has deep experience in tax credit and PPA structuring. Mark was responsible for structuring and closing SunEdison’s 2012 New Markets Tax Credit twinned with solar project in Massachusetts and for the 2012 CPS Energy 36MW Partial Prepay project. He holds a B.S. in Finance from New York University Stern and an M.B.A. from University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School.

Ricardo leads all of Arevia’s project development efforts including permitting, interconnection, regulatory affairs and construction. He is seasoned in all facets of utility-scale solar PV and battery project development. He originated the founding idea of repurposing CSP federal land applications to Solar PV + Battery Energy Storage, leading to the Gemini Solar Project, a 690MW PV + 380MW BES located in Southern Nevada. He acts as the primary point of contact and project representative for development related activities associated with Gemini. Before co-founding Arevia, led solar development project teams to over $502MM in project financing over the last nine-year period. During this time, he has created over 2.5GW of project pipeline/backlog in the Western U.S., Hawaii, Puerto Rico at Axio Power, SunEdison and GCL New Energy. and manages overall portfolio execution. He holds a B.S. in Public Relations from Pacific Union College and an M.B.A. from La Sierra University.
VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT
Krista Kisch joined Arevia Power in December 2019 as Vice President, Development. She brings 20-years of experience in greenfield development, project acquisition and management of large-scale renewable energy and transmission line projects. Ms. Kisch successfully developed Milford Wind, a 300 MW wind farm in Utah valued at $600 million. In 2008, Milford Wind was granted the first Record of Decision by the US Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management under its Wind Energy Programmatic EIS. She was also the lead developer of the Evergreen Express, a bulk hydro cross-border transmission line running from Quebec Province, Canada to southern Maine. She has developed various utility-scale wind and solar projects in the western and southern states. Ms. Kisch has held prior development leadership roles at NextEra Energy Transmission, BrightSource Energy, First Wind, Shell WindEnergy and Enron Wind. Ms. Kisch holds an MBA from Boston University and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
